Παιδιά και ενήλικες έχουμε συχνά πολύ πιεσμένο πρόγραμμα. Άλλες φορές, οι μαθησιακές μας ανάγκες μπορεί απλά να μη συμπίπτουν με αυτές των υπολοίπων. Σε αυτές τις περιπτώσεις η ένταξη σε μία τάξη μπορεί να είναι δύσκολη, ακόμα και αντιπαραγωγική.
